SOF Compensator – 1/2"-28 UNEF
The Clawgear SOF Compensator was developed for AR15 platforms to improve weapon control in demanding operational environments. It significantly reduces recoil and muzzle rise, providing better control and precision—especially during rapid fire and dynamic engagements.
The closed bottom prevents dust signature during prone shooting, while the expansion port geometry vents gases upward and to the sides, maintaining muzzle stability. Manufactured from hardened high-strength steel, the device is built to withstand extreme thermal and mechanical stress.
A key feature is the integrated breacher spike front, allowing forced entry through doors or barriers in CQB operations. Installation is done using the included crush washer and a 19 mm wrench. The A2-compatible interface allows attachment of NATO QD suppressors such as the B&T Rotex V or Steyr UMS.
