Manufactured from polymers with a rubberized coating, Crossfire HD 8x42 weighs 675g, with dimensions of 159x132mm, making it one of the typically-sized devices on the market. The optic is nitrogen purged to prevent fogging of the lenses. It is also rain, weather, and shockproof.
Glass is coated in an anti-scratch layer that furtherly enhances light transmission. With a 17mm eye relief, 42mm objective lens diameter, 8x magnification, and 7.5° field of view, Crossfire HD is a highly very capable optic in its size class.
The straight eyepiece allows the user to comfortably use it for long periods, no matter the conditions. The additional strap and pouch help with securing, carrying, and storing the product.
