Designed by Vortex Optics, the High Country II was developed as a budget-friendly tripod with premium materials and advanced technical solutions.
The three-sectioned legs are precisely machined from aluminum painted in a scratch-resistant and anti-reflection matte finish. The minimal and maximal operating height is easily adjustable between 28.6 to 158.7 cm. Incorporated Flip Levers allow firm and stable locking of the leg sections to the desired position.
The rubberized tilting head is fitted with a standard Arca-Swiss mount and an additional quick-release knob for fast attachment. Additionally, an extended arm was integrated into the design. It is used to operate heavier and more powerful scopes and binoculars. A hook for counterweight was added to shift the high-placed balance point. It also smoothens the motion of the head and allows for simple movement of the optics. The maximum load of the head is 10kg.
