Fenix's latest brightness leader, the LR40R, is a professional flashlight for exploration, prospecting, rescue operations, extreme tourism, and object monitoring.

Eighteen diodes of Cree XP-G3 and one diode of Cree XP-L HI are the flashlight's light source. The flashlight uses a 18650 (using an ALF-18 adapter) or a 1x 21700 battery with a capacity of 12 000 mAh. The LR40R generates a peak of 3000 lumens. In low mode, this device can work for up to 92h. The torch reaches a maximum beam distance of 773 meters.

This item has 11 light-setting levels. The user can adjust the brightness level and type of light to suit his needs and location.

The torch incorporates USB-C fast charging port. The flashlight also uses a standard USB port, allowing the LR40R to serve as a backup power bank.

Separate steel buttons with high responsiveness and resistance to mechanical damage activate and change the modes of focused and diffused light. The flashlight's flat base allows it to be positioned vertically (the "candle" mode) and efficiently illuminate the inside of the item to be studied.

The light has an IP68 waterproof standard, which means it can withstand total immersion in water at a depth of 2 meters and is drop resistant to 1.0 m.
