SG550 High Profile Mount Base
The Clawgear SG550 High Profile Mount Base was developed as a rugged and precise optics platform for the 55X rifle series. Designed in accordance with NATO STANAG 4694 (Picatinny interface), it allows for secure and repeatable mounting of modern aiming devices or accessories in professional applications.
Machined from high-strength 6082 aluminum, the mount offers excellent durability while maintaining a low overall weight. It attaches at two points: the front interface connects to the factory dovetail on the receiver (typically used for a brass catcher), and the rear is secured via an adjustable clamp screw with side locking. The integrated aiming bore allows continued use of the original diopter sight without removing the mount base.
