A super-compact and sturdy flashlight developed strictly for military and tactical applications. Thanks to the low weight of only 130g and articulating head, Sidewinder Compact smoothly fills the role of a sturdy helmet and strap-mounted "tac-light" and grants optimal performance in its size class.
The housing is injection molded from a high-quality, impact-resistant polymer for exceptional durability and weather resistance. Thanks to the o-ring sealed construction and an IPX7 rating, the product is waterproof to 1m for 30 minutes and impact-resistant up to 3m. It also meets MIL-STD-810F, Method 512.4 rating. The articulated head gives 185° of tilt thanks to the hinged belt and helmet mount.
The installed polycarbonate lens is multi-coated in an anti-scratch layer that furtherly enhances light transmission.
The performance and runtime depend on the LED, battery type, and operating mode. Sidewinder works in 5/25/60/100% output and 100% strobe mode with a runtime of at least 5 hours for white LED and more than 100 hours for IR/red and blue/green LED.
A single CR123A battery provides power for the flashlight. A rotary knob with a push button guarantees an easy and smooth way to choose the correct LED and power output.
