Designed by Vortex Optics, Summit was developed as a low-weight tripod manufactured with premium materials and advanced mass-reducing solutions.
The four-sectioned legs are precisely manufactured from high-density carbon fiber. The minimal and maximal operating height is easily adjustable between 23.5 to 135.4 cm. Incorporated 1/4 Turn Leg Locks allow firm and stable fastening of the leg sections to the desired level. Rubber leg tips prevent slipping on the uneven or slippery surface.
The rubberized tilting head is factory-fitted with a standard Arca-Swiss mount and an additional quick-release knob for fast attachment. Additionally, an extended arm was integrated into the design. It is used to operate heavier and more powerful scopes and binoculars. A hook for counterweight was added to shift the high-placed balance point. It also smoothens the motion of the head and allows for simple movement of the optics. The maximum load of the head is 10kg.
